James Fleming, DDS

Dr. James Fleming was raised in Columbia, Tennessee and attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Tennessee, College of

 Dentistry. Prior to returning to Nashville, Dr. Fleming practiced in Paris, Tennessee where he was very active in the community.

Before attending Dental School, Dr. Fleming was a sales representative for a leading orthopedic implant company in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in total knee and hip reconstruction, as well as spinal fusion implants.

It was in Atlanta that he met his lovely wife, Cheryl. Together they have two sons, McGavock and Swope. Dr Fleming and his family enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, hunting, boating, fishing and spending time on his family's farm. They are member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Fleming regularly attends continuing education courses to expand his knowledge base in orthodontics (Invisalign Braces), Endodontics (root canals), Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry as well as Restorative Dentistry. He maintains active membership in The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The International Academy of Sports Dentistry, The Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
