Anna Pate is one of Dr. Vaughan's assistants and especially likes to assist with Oral Surgery and Sedation Patients. She is thirty one years old, has been married for ten years with one daughter, Josie.

Anna grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and received an associates degree from Volunteer State Community College with Certification in Dental Assisting and is Registered in the State of Tennessee. She is a member of the National Association of Dental Assistants, the American Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association. Anna is certified in CPR/AED by the American Heart Association.

Anna states she enjoys all areas of dentistry but if asked to choose one it would be oral surgery, stating "she has always found the body's natural ability to withstand the trauma of surgical procedures and its ability to heal itself fascinating".

Anna frequently does presentations to grade school children on the importance of dental hygiene. This includes teaching them proper brushing and flossing. She has spent time serving meals to the homeless on holidays and volunteering at the Humane Association. Anna's number one interest is her family, but in her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, photography and painting pottery.
